LG AKA smartphone has its own personality

Eyes tell a lot of things about a living being and LG deems it a perfect new way to connect to a smartphone. Dubbed AKA (short for also known as), the new phones help users reflect their own individuality. The phones come in four different casings that reflect different personalities: affectionate Eggy in yellow, short-tempered Wooky in white, music-loving introvert Soul in navy and greedy Yoyo in pink.

The eyes that are above the case feel dizzy when the phone vibrates or turn red in case the phone is low on battery.

We’re not sure how the phones will be perceived in markets like the US but the phones will certainly attract some attention in Asian countries where consumers love to personalise their smartphones with cases, lanyards etc.

As for the specs, the AKA smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display, LTE support, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8 megapixel main camera with 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB internal memory, 2610mAh battery, NFC, A-GPS and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The phone will be available in South Korea on all three carriers.
