How much is the Apple iPad including tax after bought and the software update?

You need to be more specific. What country are you in? What state are you in if US? Store.apple.com/iPad you can buy from there. I don’t know about VAT either, that depends on country. There is no available software update at the minute. It ships with iOS 3.2 for iPad pre loaded. iOS4 is available for some iPhone and iPod touch soon, however for iPad it is going to be autumn, and pricing is unknown if any.
