How to connect wifi enable phone to a wifi modem?
I am planning to buy a wifi enabled phone, I am bit confused here.
How to connect my phone with wifi modem and do I need to power on my pc when I try to use wifi from my phone.

The user manual in the box will have all the instructions you need. If you don’t get a manual then there will be one online for free on the manufacturers website, on the support page.
The computer only needs to be on to set the router up then you can turn it off and the router still puts out a wireless signal.
