As the release of the Apple Watch showed, checking your Apple order status has become a bonding ritual for Apple customers. And today, Apple added Apple Watch support to its Apple Store app, so now watch owners can check the order status of the goodies they bought, right on their wrist.
In addition to order status, Apple Watch owners can use the Apple Store watch app to find a nearby Apple Store. The app shows a picture of the store, along with the address and location on a map.
When you’re in an Apple Store, you can use the watch app to check in for Genius Bar reservations, find out about store workshops and events, and start a pick-up order.
If you already have the Apple Store app on your iPhone, you need to update it to version 3.2.1 to get the Apple Watch support. If you don’t have the Apple Store app on your iPhone, you can get it for free at the App Store.
